A Touch of Fall Home Tour
I've joined together with a great group of gals on a Fall Home Tour. It's like a digital parade of homes! I remember years ago having a date day with my husband and touring homes on a holiday home tour. It was so much fun--but a little exhausting driving and walking from house to house. Plus, it took an entire day! So instead, you can sit in your jammies and tour some amazing homes from your laptop. I just love every gal's home on this tour and so will you!
So let's start with mine...Welcome to our home.
Upon entering our front door/sunroom, you are greeted with this chalkboard and traditional Fall floral display.
Just inside our door is a niche which we recently renovated by adding rock to the back wall. Atop this antique chalkpainted dresser is a reproduction vintage scale from The Driftwood Haus. I kept the decor simple here with a modest floral swag and candles.
In our living and dining areas I incorporated more neutral and nature inspired Fall decor. I just love the giant basket on the mantle that I purchased at Target a few years ago.
To coordinate with the magnolia wreath on the mantle I bought a magnolia swag that stretches the length of our dining table. I found these salad plates at Tuesday morning which great our dinner guests with a cheerful message.
Our kitchen is also full of rich tones of nature. Like the changing of fall leaves from green to brown to gold and orange, I have incorporated brown wooden cutting boards and shiny copper utensils and tea kettles to the space.
(For more details on this area of my kitchen check out my last post about creating vignettes HERE)
I hope you have enjoyed our home tour and hope you will head over to the next home on our digital parade. Give Jersey Girl in the South a visit next!
